Born 1996, live and work in Marseille.
Ash Love investigate the construction, circulation, and transformation of narratives within contemporary regimes of communication and representation of affects. Working across painting, sculpture, and installation, Ash Love develop a visual and material language that draws on the semiotics of digital culture, symbolic systems, and the regulation of social norms. They assemble visual motifs, language, and personal artefacts to generate polyphonic narratives that challenge the stability of identity. Their work act as counter-narratives, exploring the political, poetical and potential alternative stories to be told and reclaimed.
Ash Love graduated from HEAD, Geneva (2021). Their work has been presented in personal exhibitions at exo exo, Paris; Prenzlauer Studio, Berlin and in group shows in galleries and institutions: CAPC, Bordeaux; CAC Synagogue de Delme; 66e Salon de Montrouge; Basel Social Club, Basel; Galerie Sultana, Paris; Soft Power, Berlin; FMAC, Genève; Sissi Club, Marseille. Their work has joined public collections in France such as Fonds d’art contemporain - Paris Collections; CAPC musée, Bordeaux; FRAC MÉCA, Bordeaux; Collection Ville de Montrouge. They are a 2025-2026 resident at Casa de Velázquez, Madrid.
